ABOUT

ARTY, Inc. was founded in 2010 by two young women.  They grew up in an at-risk home, their mothers deceased when they were only twelve, and no father figure. Due to this paradigm they had a tough childhood. Single parenthood was evidence, but in 2010 a mutual friend encouraged them to be responsible and become better parents for their children's sake.  In 2013, this dear friend passed away but her gift of love, hope, encouragement, and support, kindled their spirits to press forward with their vision. Still, it would be years before their vision would coincide with the plans of Jesus.

In 2017, that vision took flight. Artistically Reaching and Teaching Youth, Non-profit organization has had an opportunity to mentor  youth in the local CSRA. ARTY's objective is to reach youth at their level, pique their interests, goals, and aspirations... then literally guide them towards their destiny. We believe with Christ, guidance, encouragement, and love, youth can reach any goal that they set out to achieve. Currently, we have thirty enrollments, ranging from the ages of 7-18. With great determination to help our community, we are certain that this number will increase.

Our Objective:

  • Create an outlet, alternative lifestyle for youth

  • Encourage youth to express themselves positively through Art

  • Provide resources and awareness of opportunities available in the community and surrounding areas

  • Increase self-esteem, self-respect, and self-awareness

  • Suicide prevention

  • Encourange family and community involvement
